1.
Will you come to our office and work on our premises?

2.
What is a Fractional Controller or CFO?
A Fractional Controller works part time overseeing the finance transactions of the company, while a Fractional CFO works part time strategizing, setting up short and long term plans for the company and its owner(s).
3.
Why do I have to have a paid deep dive review before you work with us?
It's becoming a more standard practice nowadays. The purpose of it is to determine the condition of your books, status with CRA, and your management practices. This allows us to know ahead of time whether there will be clean up work, how many months need to be completed for your accounts to be brought up to date, and if there is any immediate risk of impending CRA actions. With this information in hand, we can then report on what we found, recommend if there are improvements and efficiencies that could be made. This also gives you the potential longer term client an idea of who we are when we work with you. We also will give you credit for the paid review if we decide to work together.
4.
Why do we have to fill out an application form? Didn't you learn enough when you chatted with us?
We do the free no obligation phone call in the beginning so that we both can determine if our personalities can work together. If you want someone who agrees with everything you do/say, we will not be a good fit. Likewise if you feel we are too friendly, we may not be the best fit for you, even if we were to deliver extraordinary services. We all have personal biases and we find that having a chat first, followed by the application form allows us both the opportunity to determine if both personalities and businesses will mesh well together. And it is fine to not fit. It does not necessarily mean that we would never fit, just perhaps not right now.
